On June 8, 1975, 27-year-old Edward Joesph Arcand left his residence in Coleman, Alberta, driving a 1969 Ford Falcon station wagon.
On June 15, 1975*, his abandoned vehicle was found 80 km north of Coleman on Highway 940. Edward Arcand was never seen again.
Edward is described as Indigenous, 5’8” tall and 139 lbs with a medium build. He has brown eyes and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a blue, denim jacket, a red shirt, and blue, denim pants.
He was ruled out as the identity of Septic Tank Sam, a man whose remains were discovered in a septic tank outside of Tofield, Alberta, in 1977. Edward was missing six teeth, while Sam had all his teeth intact.
