In August 1996, 34-year-old Bruce Royale Berthelot walked out of his family’s home in Leamington, Ontario, and disappeared. He had been struggling with bipolar disorder and may have travelled west.

Nick and Lisa Masee were set to discuss a $10 million business deal with an investor at Trader Vic’s in downtown Vancouver on August 10, 1994. The next morning, Lisa made two phone calls. They were never heard from again.

Early in the morning on March 4, 1993, a man delivering newspapers called 911 to report an apartment fire in the 8700 block of Granville Street in Vancouver, BC. When firefighters arrived, they discovered 28-year-old Jillian Fuller’s body inside her burned-out apartment.

Leah Sousa was barely 13 years old when she fell asleep on the couch at her family’s home in Cumberland Beach, Ontario. It was Labour Day weekend in 1990. Sometime after midnight, someone broke in while her family slept.
