MISSING: Marshal IWAASA (Interview with Paige Fogen)
Marshal Iwaasa was 26 years old when he was last seen on November 17, 2019. A week later, his burned out truck was found in the backcountry of Pemberton, BC. I spoke with Marshal’s sister, Paige Fogen, to learn more about Marshal and his family’s search for answers.
MISSING: Bruce Royale BERTHELOT (1996) - Leamington, ON
In August 1996, 34-year-old Bruce Royale Berthelot walked out of his family’s home in Leamington, Ontario, and disappeared. He had been struggling with bipolar disorder and may have travelled west.
MISSING: Stacy “Luke” DILENARDI (2005) - Sault Ste. Marie, ON
Stacy Lucien “Luke” DiLenardi had lived in Sudbury his entire life. Three months after starting a new job in Sault Ste. Marie, Stacy went to buy cigarettes during lunch. He never returned.
MISSING: Nick & Lisa MASEE (1994) - Vancouver, BC
Nick and Lisa Masee were set to discuss a $10 million business deal with an investor at Trader Vic’s in downtown Vancouver on August 10, 1994. The next morning, Lisa made two phone calls. They were never heard from again.
MISSING: The O’Brien Brothers (1996) - Torbay, NL
At 14 years old, Adam O’Brien was the oldest. Trevor was 11, and Mitchell was just a few weeks shy of his 5th birthday. On the day their father kidnapped them, Mitchell was feeling sick; their mother, Diana, had tried to keep him home.
MISSING: Corey Shane Braun (2004) - Peace River, AB
In 2004, Corey Shane Braun was 24 years old. He lived and worked in Fort St. John, B.C., as an oil field operator for Penn West. In November, nearly four hours away from home, he disappeared after attending the company’s Christmas party.
MISSING: Amelie McArthur (1973) - Taylor, B.C.
On the morning of August 28, 1973, 36-year-old Amelie McArthur was seen driving away from her home in Taylor, British Columbia.
MISSING: Audrey Desjardins (1996) - Welland, ON
On October 3, 1996, 42-year-old Audrey Desjardins disappeared after dropping off a friend/co-worker in Welland, Ontario. There has been no sign of Audrey or her 1985 Ford Crown Victoria since.
MISSING: Pamela Harvey (1978) - Sudbury, ON
Pamela Harvey was looking for a new start when she moved to Sudbury, Ontario. When she disappeared in 1978, she left behind a young son and countless questions about how - and why - she vanished.
MISSING: Dana Zelic (1999) - Hamilton, ON
Dana Zelic disappeared sometime in the early morning of August 30, 1999, from her mother's east end Hamilton apartment. She left everything behind. Despite several sightings over the years - and a mysterious phone call - her whereabouts remain unknown.
MISSING: Dean Curtis Mortensen (1992) - Edmonton, AB
Dean Mortensen was a student at the University of Alberta when he vanished after a night out in January of 1992. Aside from his hat—discovered weeks later—no trace of Dean has ever been found.

MISSING: Clayton Mark Bussiere (1982) - Mission, B.C.
On October 17, 1982, Clayton played a few hands of poker with friends after finishing his shift at Abbotsford Taxi Ltd. When it ended, he left to drive home. Hours later, someone saw a passenger in his vehicle.
MISSING: Landry Ntwari (2017) - Burlington, ON
On his 28th birthday, Landry Ntwari left his home in Burlington, Ontario, and went to the Fallsview Tourist Area of Niagara Falls. For reasons unknown, it was his sixth trip to the city since October.
MISSING: Maria Giovanna Evangelista (1997) - Montréal, QC
On January 27, 1997, 36-year-old Maria Giovanna Evangelista called her mother with some news. She was going to California. Ten days later, she vanished.
Barry “Rocky” Fiddler (1975) - Waterhen Lake First Nation, SK
In February of 1975, 14-year-old Barry “Rocky” Fiddler left his home in Waterhen Lake First Nation, north of Meadow Lake in Saskatchewan. Where he was headed is unknown, but his family never saw him again.
MISSING: James Nestor Candy (2017) - Vegreville, AB
Sometime between 11 p.m. on August 6, 2017, and 9:30 a.m. the next morning, 17-year-old James Candy crawled out of his bedroom window on his family’s farm in Vegreville, Alberta, and disappeared.
MISSING: Loretta Ann Frank (1988) - Whitehorse, Yukon
In 1988, 19-year-old Loretta Frank visited her family in Watson Lake. She said she was unhappy in Whitehorse and wanted to move back to Watson Lake. Concerned about the lack of resources in Watson Lake to treat Lora’s schizophrenia, her family disagreed with the idea.
Lora returned to Whitehorse. Her family never saw her again.
MISSING: The Jack Family - 08/02/1989 - Prince George, B.C.
The offer was too good to be true.
On Tuesday, August 1, 1989, Ronnie Jack left the First Litre Pub in Prince George, British Columbia, feeling hopeful. Someone at the bar that night had offered to help.
The disappearance of the Jack family is the first and only of its kind in Canadian history.
